These include some of the largest and most complex schemes in the industry, undertaken in a combination of principal contractor and sub-contractor capacities. Centurion House
- Location: Edgware, London
A facade remediation scheme delivered on a 7 storey mixed-use building, comprising of ground level retail units (which remained open throughout the project) and residential apartments above. The project involved the replacement of the building’s combustible insulated render with a new non-combustible EWI render system. The new system included an intricate ‘ashlar’ detail within the finish, in order to maintain the appearance of the building’s facade. All access, site management, welfare and waste removal was also provided by UKR Facades.
Bridgewater Wharf
- Location: Salford
A 14,800m2 brick slip scheme delivered on a new-build residential development. The building’s facade comprising of Eurobond insulation panels and a T.I. Dynamic Facades ‘AEROBRIK’ brick slip system was installed by our specialist teams over an 18 month construction programme, with the vast majority of installation being undertaken via MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Working Platforms). Within this timeframe, UKR Facades also installed over 700 window and door units, demonstrating our ability to provide clients with a complete building envelope solution.
Leonardo Hotel
- Location: Derby
A facade remediation project on a 12 storey hotel, focused on the property’s emergency exit routes. UKR Facades have been engaged as principal contractor to replace the building’s existing combustible insulated render facade with a new non-combustible EWI render system. The hotel has remained open for business throughout the project, which has required UKR Facades to work collaboratively with the hotel management and implement robust planning procedures to ensure that any disruption to the hotel guests is minimised and the project is delivered as quickly, smoothly and effectively as possible.
Stillwater Drive
- Location: Manchester
A facade remediation scheme delivered on a 14 storey residential building. The project involved the replacement of the building’s combustible insulated render system with a new non-combustible EWI render system, which UKR Facades delivered as a sub-contractor, on a supply and install basis.
Concord Street Apartments
- Location: Leeds
A facade remediation scheme on a 7 storey residential building, delivered by UKR Facades on a sub-contractor basis. The project involved the full replacement of the building’s combustible EWI and terracotta cladding with new non-combustible systems.
Jamaica House
- Location: Liverpool
A facade remediation project focused on the penthouse apartments of a 9 storey residential building. The work involved the replacement of the building’s combustible HPL cladding with a new non-combustible aluminium cladding system and fire barriers. UKR Facades delivered this project as a sub-contractor, on a supply and install basis, as well as providing the necessary scaffolding access and technical facade designs.
The NV Buildings
- Location: Salford
A balcony remediation scheme delivered on a high-rise residential development in the heart of Salford Quays. UKR Facades undertook this project as a ‘labour only’ sub-contractor, which involved replacing combustible timber balcony decking with new non-combustible aluminium decking.

A facade remediation project undertaken by UKR Facades as a ‘labour only’ sub-contractor. The project involved the replacement of combustible insulated render with a new non-combustible EWI render system.
Albion Mill
- Location: Ancoats, Manchester
A facade remediation project undertaken by UKR Facades as a ‘labour only’ sub-contractor. The project involved the replacement of combustible insulated render and timber balcony decking with new non-combustible systems.
