PROJECT OVERVIEW
Fire-Safety Remediation Across Eight Higher-Risk Buildings
Spectrum Apartments is a £15m fire-safety remediation project spanning eight residential Higher-Risk Buildings in Salford. UKR Facades was appointed to deliver extensive facade remediation works across the development, replacing multiple elements of the existing external wall systems to improve fire safety and compliance.
The three-year construction programme includes replacement cladding, insulated render, insulation, fire barriers, spandrel panels and decking. Alongside delivery, UKR produced the Stage 4 technical facade design in coordination with the appointed fire engineer, structural engineer and architect, supporting the project through Gateway 2 and into construction.
